About the author:
Jan Loebl (*2000) is a young visual artist and a student of graphic design at BIU in Berlin. His works are characterized by dark, satirical and sometimes eccentric psychological thoughts with a gloomy vertone. In the past, Jan mainly focused on digital illustration only, whereas nowadays he often creates collages from painted canvases and photographs. In his work, he points out the reality of human society, unrelated to some people, and its influence particularly on the younger generation. In his paintings there are elements of pain, darkness and a certain zeitgeist, which people often overlook with disinterest or even despise. Jan has already organized several exhibitions and he has also worked together with fashion designer Klara Nademlýnská on the design of her new menswear brand. Jan has also designed a prototype mobile app for online courts in the Czech Republic.
