Klára Sedlo graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (studio of M. Rittstein and J. Petrbok). Significant elements of her artistic expression can be traced back to her first years at the Academy of Fine Arts. Klára's work is dominated by playful horror, film aesthetics, modern kitsch art, figurative compositions with elements of symbolism, dreaming and work with the subconscious mind. Bizarre stories and scenes unfold on her canvases in the form of realistic representational painting.
